Our staff are our most valued asset and we encourage them to continue to develop both personally and professionally. We aim to create an atmosphere of teamwork and co-operation within our centre. The Centre values staff members having the highest standards of character, performance and interest in the welfare of children, and supports the ongoing training of our team.

The staff at ERCC are qualified Early Childhood Educators and have experience in the education and development of young children.

Staff are given planning time throughout the week to revise the program, to document observations and to write a daily reflection on what play has transpired throughout the day.

The Centre Coordinator is the pedagogical leader of the centre and is responsible for the daily management and administration of the Centre. The coordinator ensures all Centre policies, Local, State and Commonwealth Government guidelines and all legislative requirements are implemented and followed. Close involvement with direct care of the children is an integral part of this role as is supporting and mentoring staff, liaising with parents, the community and the City of Port Phillip.
